Shoestring Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    large potatoes
    1 c. flour
    1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    water
Preparation
    Peel large potatoes; slice larger than for French fries.
    Soak in ice water.
    Make dip by combining flour, baking powder, vinegar and enough water to make stiff batter.
    Dry potatoes well; dip potatoes and drop in hot grease a few at a time.
    Turn once.
    Keep warm in brown paper bag with paper towels.
    Great with fried chicken.
