Scotch Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 eggs
    flour
    salt and pepper to taste
    breadcrumbs
1 (16 oz.) pkg. sausage meat
Preparation
    Hard-cook 6 eggs for 10 minutes.
Cool quickly by putting under cold running water.
    Remove shells.
Divide sausage meat into 6 equal portions; flatten each piece so that it is big enough to go around an egg.
Use flour to prevent it from sticking.
Coat each egg with a little seasoned flour.
Wrap sausage around each egg, joining the edges, so the egg is completely covered.
Dip each sausage covered egg into lightly beaten raw egg, then into breadcrumbs.
Deep fry for a few minutes, or shallow fry on all sides until nicely browned and sausage is cooked.
    Serve with salad.
Scotch Eggs are also good for a picnic.
