Barbecued Beef Brisket - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (4 1/2 oz.) fresh boneless brisket
1 medium onion, quartered
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 bay leaf
2 c. catsup
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. liquid smoke
2 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. chili powder
Preparation

About 4 hours before serving, in covered kettle over high heat, heat to boiling brisket, onion, garlic, bay leaf and enough water to cover.
Over low heat, simmer for 2 1/2 hours until tender.
