Great Grandma'S Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 c. canned evaporated milk
2 c. small marshmallows
1 c. peanut butter
1/4 stick butter
1 c. nuts (optional)

Preparation

Bring sugar, milk and butter to a boil.
Insert candy thermometer and cook to a \"soft ball\".
Stir in marshmallows, peanut butter and nuts.
Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan and let set up.
