Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
3 Tbsp. solid vegetable shortening
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients together.
Mix shortening in dry ingredients, using pastry blender or 2 knives until it resembles small peas.
Add buttermilk; roll on lightly floured board.
Cut and bake in a 450\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until lightly browned.
