Betty'S Sweet And Sour Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope regular onion soup mix
    1/2 c. water
    2 eggs
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 can (16 oz.) sauerkraut, drained
    1 can (8 oz.) whole cranberry sauce
    3/4 c. chili sauce
    3/4 c. water
    1/3 c. packed brown sugar
Preparation
    Combine soup mix with 1/2 cup water.
    Beat in eggs.
    Add meat and mix well.
    Shape mixture into 40 meatballs.
    Combine the rest of the ingredients.
    Pour half into 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Brown meatballs and drain off excess fat.
    Arrange meatballs on top of sauerkraut mixture.
    Pour remaining mixture over meatballs. Cover with foil and bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
    Uncover and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer.
    Serve as is or over rice.
