Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour, sifted
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg whites
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. brown sugar
fruit slices
whipped cream
Preparation

Sift flour again with baking powder.
Cream butter or substitute and sugar.
Add well beaten egg yolks to creamed mixture.
Add milk alternately with flour, add vanilla and fold in beaten egg whites.
Melt 2 tablespoons butter and add brown sugar. Spread in baking dish.
Add fruit, slices or crushed.
Pour cake batter over fruit.
Bake in 360\u00b0 oven 45 minutes.
Turn upside down.
Serve with whipped cream.
Serves 8.
