Pineapple-Buttermilk Congealed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    6 oz. orange jello
    2 c. buttermilk
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine pineapple and sugar in saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring.
    Remove from heat.
    Add jello, stirring well.
    Cool. Add buttermilk; stir well.
    Fold in cream and pecans.
    Stir well. Pour into 13 x 9-inch dish and chill.
