Edna'S Sweet Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pickles
    garlic
    dill
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    3 c. water
    1 Tbsp. canning and pickling salt
Preparation
    Slice
    pickles;
    do
    not
    peel.
    Put
    1 sprig dill or 1 tablespoon
    dill seed in jars first, then pickles, followed by 1 clove
    garlic.
    Cold
    pack to boiling.
    Let set 1 hour.
    Or boil 8 minutes and take off heat.
