Dirt Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (12 oz.) pkg. refrigerated whipped topping
1 large (20 oz.) pkg. Oreo cookies, broken into crumbs (all but 10)
1 (20 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Preparation

Cover the bottom of a clear glass bowl with refrigerated whipped topping.
Add about 1/3 of the Oreo cookie crumbs, spreading them evenly over the topping.
Add the cherry pie filling.
Add another layer of topping and a layer of cookie crumbs.
Add one more layer of topping and the last of the cookie crumbs.
Top with whole Oreos.
Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours to allow flavors to harmonize and serve chilled.
Yield: 8 servings.
