Chicken Sopa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 to 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
    2 to 3 lb. chicken, cooked, boned and diced
    1 pkg. corn tortillas
    1 lb. grated Longhorn or Velveeta cheese
Preparation
    Brown onions in butter; combine with soups, broth, chilies and chicken.
    Mix well.
    Place layer of tortillas in 9 x 11 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Top with layer of chicken mixture and then a layer of cheese.
    Repeat all three layers until dish is filled, ending with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
    Serves 8.
