Elsie Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. soft butter or oleo
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
drained berries or sliced peaches
1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. juice
Preparation

Cream the butter or oleo with sugar.
Mix in dry ingredients. Add milk.
Pour into greased baking pan (9 x 9-inch).
Top with berries or peaches; sprinkle sugar over.
Pour juice on top.
If using fresh fruit, add water instead of juice.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
