Chex After School Mix - cooking recipe
Ingredients

9 c. your favorite Chex cereal
1 c. semi-sweet Nestle Toll House chocolate morsels
1/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Preparation

Place cereal in a large bowl. Set aside.
In a small saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate morsels, peanut butter and margarine until smooth. Stir often.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Place cereal mixture on sugar in large paper bag.
Shake until all pieces are well coated.
Spread on waxed paper to cool.
Store in airtight container.
Makes 9 cups.
