Dirt Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 stick butter or margarine, softened
1 c. powdered sugar
2 pkg. instant vanilla or chocolate pudding
2 pkg. (20 oz. each) Oreo cookies, crushed in food processor or blender *
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
3 1/2 c. milk
12 oz. container frozen whipped topping, thawed

*Thirty ounces may be enough.
