Cranberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. melted shortening
1 c. cranberries, cut into halves
1/2 c. chopped nutmeats
1 well-beaten egg
juice of 1 orange plus warm water to make 1 c.
Preparation

Sift all dry ingredients together.
Add cranberries and nutmeats, then add eggs mixed with diluted orange juice and shortening.
Stir slightly.
Bake in greased and floured loaf pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
