Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. round steak, cut in slices
1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. seasoning salt
1 green pepper
1 tsp. black pepper
4 Tbsp. shortening
1 onion, sliced
Preparation

Mix flour, salt and pepper thoroughly, pounding into steak. Brown meat in hot shortening.
Add onion, tomatoes and green pepper; cover.
Cook over low heat in 350\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour.
