Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 or 8 potatoes, cooked and diced
    3 eggs, boiled and diced
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 egg, beaten
    4 tsp. butter
    3/4 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 tsp. mustard
Preparation
    Combine sugar and cornstarch.
    Add other ingredients, except potatoes and eggs.
    Cook until bubbly; remove from heat.
    Add 1/4 cup onion and 1/4 cup salad dressing.
    Pour over potatoes and eggs.
