Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter (or 1 stick butter plus 1 stick margarine)
    1/4 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp vanilla
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
    Add one egg at a time. Sift flour with baking powder; add alternately with milk and flavorings.
    Place in greased pan in cold oven.
    Set oven at 325\u00b0 and bake 1 hour and 30 minutes.
    Do not open door while baking.
