Turtles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. melted margarine
    1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels (50)
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt caramels with 1/3 cup (1/2 can) evaporated milk.
    Mix cake mix, margarine, 1/3 cup milk and pecans.
    Press 1/2 of cake mixture into 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips over crust.
    Pour caramel mixture on chips.
    Dab the remaining cake mixture over caramel layers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
