Corn Bread Recipe - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. meal
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    lard (about the size of a hen egg)
    buttermilk
Preparation
    Grease baking dish. Work it up with buttermilk so you can handle it. Make the dodgers. I make it with my hands and it will cream fluffy if you work it long enough. That makes it light and fluffy and I have a pan of warm water to wet my hands, which makes them smooth. I have the oven at 500\u00b0.
