Belgian Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. flour
    3 lb. boneless beef (chuck, etc.)
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 (12 oz.) bottle beer
    1 envelope onion soup mix
Preparation
    Cut beef into small cubes.
    Place flour in a plastic bag.
    Add beef cubes; toss until well coated.
    Heat butter over medium heat in a heavy pot.
    Add beef and brown well on all sides.
    After beef is browned, add beer and soup mix.
    Bring to a boil; lower heat to a simmer and cook.
    Cover until beef is tender, 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Serves 4 to 6.
