Grasshopper Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 pkg. pistachio instant pudding
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    1/2 c. maraschino cherries, cut up
    1 medium (1 lb.) tub cottage cheese
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    Place pineapple and juice in a large bowl.
    Add pudding and mix well.
    Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Cool 1/2 hour before serving.
