Two-Layer Yellow Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine or shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
    2/3 c. milk
    2 c. cake flour or regular flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients. Add milk; beat well. Use 2 (8-inch) layer pans. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
