Railroad Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
    1 can water
    1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn
    1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    thin cornbread batter
Preparation
    Brown beef and onion. Drain, then simmer with other ingredients and bring back to a boil. Take off heat and make a thin cornbread topping to go over the beef and vegetable mixture in a greased casserole dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes. Makes a meal in itself.
