Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    about 3 lb. spareribs
    a few slices bacon, cut in pieces
    1 onion, chopped fine
    1/2 c. catsup
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    Worcestershire sauce to taste
    Tabasco sauce to taste
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown bacon and onion.
    Add catsup, water, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce and salt and pepper.
    Cook ribs 1 1/2 to 2 hours in water.
    Drain.
    Broil about 10 minutes with sauce on.
