Cherry Coffeecake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. powdered sugar
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. oleo
    1 tsp. almond extract
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 to 2 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Beat the sugar, oleo, shortening, baking powder, vanilla, almond and eggs together on low speed until well blended.
    Beat on high speed 3 minutes.
    Stir in 3 cups flour.
    Spread 2/3 of batter in pan.
    Spread pie filling over batter.
    Drop remaining batter by tablespoons onto pie filling.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 35 minutes.
    Drizzle with glaze of powdered sugar and milk.
