Nine Day Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, cut in small pieces
    cabbage, cut in small pieces
    1 small jar pimientos
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 Tbsp. celery seed
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
Preparation
    Mix and bring to boil the sugar, salt, celery seed, vinegar and oil.
    Pour over cabbage.
    Cabbage and onion should fill 1/2 gallon container.
    Pour over dressing and let set overnight.
