Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. oil
    1 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. salt
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 red onion
    1 green pepper
    1 carrot
Preparation
    Shred cabbage, onion, pepper and carrot.
    Toss lightly.
    Mix remaining ingredients; bring to a boil and let cool.
    Sprinkle 1 cup sugar over top of cabbage mixture and pour cool dressing over it.
    Do not stir.
    Let set overnight in refrigerator; toss lightly when ready to serve.
    Be sure to cover, it smells.
