Ingredients

2 c. 2% milk
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. egg substitute
1 c. evaporated skimmed milk
ice
1 vanilla bean, split
Preparation

Pour 1 cup of milk in saucepan; put vanilla in and cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Remove.
Pour milk mix in a bowl and chill.
Combine evaporated milk, sugar, egg substitute and remaining cup of 2% milk in mixture. Stir with wire whisk until blended.
Pour into freezer for 1 hour (1/2 gallon freezer).
