Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. soda
    2 oz. red food coloring
Preparation
    Cream
    together first 4 ingredients. Combine the next 3 ingredients
    and add to creamed mixture alternately with 1 cup of buttermilk.
    In a separate small bowl mix together vinegar and soda,
    then
    add
    to
    creamed mixture.
    Add food coloring last. Bake as a regular cake approximately 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes until done.
