Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    2 c. apple pie filling
    1 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1 1/2 c. raisins
    1 c. pecans
    1 c. candied cherries
    1 c. candied pineapple
Preparation
    Melt butter; add apple pie filling and sugar.
    Continue beating, stirring occasionally, until sugar melts.
    Cool.
    Sift dry ingredients; mix raisins, pecans and candied fruit with dry ingredients.
    Pour into foil lined 9-inch tube pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 90 minutes.
