Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
3/4 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
2 c. quick oatmeal
1 pkg. butterscotch chips
Preparation

Cream shortening, sugars and vanilla.
Beat in eggs.
Add sifted dry ingredients with oatmeal and hot water.
Add chips and nuts.
Mix well and drop on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
