Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. cooking onions
    4 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. oil
    3 cans consomme
    3 cans water
    1 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 to 1/2 c. white wine
    granulated garlic powder
    grated Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter and oil until golden and limp.
    Stir in flour.
    Add liquid and salt.
    Simmer 15 minutes.
