Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice (uncooked)
    2 c. milk
    1 c. white sugar
    raisins (optional)
    2 shakes nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Boil rice in 2 quarts water with a dash of salt and a teaspoon of oil.
    Drain and mix with milk, sugar and egg.
    Bring to a full boil and boil for 1 minute longer.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and optional raisins.
    Cool, stirring occasionally.
    Serve warm or cold.
