"Beef Stroganoff" - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. beef, sirloin, top round or tenderloin tips
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. black pepper
6 Tbsp. oleo
1 1/4 c. chopped or minced onions
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 cans chicken soup (cream style)
1 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms or 1 (1 lb.) can mushrooms
2 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. dry sherry
Preparation

Cut meat 1 inch long by 1/4 inch thick.
Coat with flour, garlic and pepper.
Brown in large skillet.
Remove meat.
Brown onions in same pan.
Slowly stir in water, soup and mushrooms. Cook until hot.
Add meat and simmer 20 to 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
