Savory Summer Squash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices bacon, diced
6 c. summer squash, cut into 1/4 inch slices
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Fry bacon in
skillet
until crisp.
Drain on absorbent paper. Combine squash, salt, and pepper in bacon drippings in skillet. Cover and cook stirring occasionally for about 15 to 20 minutes, until
tender.
Just before serving, sprinkle with bacon and cheese.
