Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. Nabisco 100% Bran
2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. Crisco
2 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 qt. buttermilk
5 c. plain flour, sifted twice
5 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. salt
4 c. Kellogg's All-Bran
Preparation

Pour boiling water over bran and let cool.
Cream Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, then add buttermilk.
Add flour and baking soda.
Fold in water and bran.
Fold in Kellogg's All-Bran.
Makes 1 gallon.
Keeps 6 weeks in the refrigerator. Fill muffin tins 1/2 full and bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
