Oatmeal Crisps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. oatmeal
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. sugar (if desired)
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. fat
    1/2 c. milk or enough to make a stiff dough
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Work in fat with tips of fingers; then add milk.
    Roll very thin.
    Prick well and bake for 15 minutes in moderately hot oven.
    When cold, break into pieces. May be served in place of crackers; also good when hot served with butter.
