Spaghetti Sauce For 12 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cloves garlic, chopped fine
    5 onions, chopped
    2 large cans tomatoes
    1 large can water
    3 small cans tomato paste
    salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    5 or 6 bay leaves
    1 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. sage
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 lb. mushrooms
    2 lb. ground beef
    Italian sausage
Preparation
    Brown garlic and onion in 1 cup olive oil; add tomatoes, water and paste.
    Stir; add seasonings and simmer for 1/2 hour.
    Stir often; add mushrooms and raw ground beef.
    Simmer 1/2 hour; taste for seasonings.
    Simmer for 3 hours or more.
