Sweet Biscuit Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. flour (plain)
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
Preparation

Mix
flour,
baking powder, sugar and salt together in a mixing
bowl.
Cut\tin
butter
or margarine to resemble coarse crumbs.
Combine milk and egg, add to dry ingredients, stirring with
a fork until it forms a soft dough.
Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness,\tcut
out
biscuits
with
2-inch
cutter.
Good for cobblers, chicken pie, etc.
