Coconut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    2 c. coconut
    6 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add the other ingredients.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and bake for 45 minutes.
