German Spatzel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3 eggs
    3 Tbsp. water
    pinch of salt
    4 oz. Gouda cheese, grated
    1 lb. bacon
    onion
Preparation
    Mix together flour, eggs and salt.
    Add water and mix.
    Let stand 10 to 15 minutes.
    Fill noodle press 2/3 full and squeeze into salted boiling water and cook 1 to 2 minutes.
    Drain. Meanwhile, fry 12 ounces of bacon (cut into small pieces) and 1/2 onion.
    Drain fat; set aside.
    Add 4 ounces Gouda cheese to noodles, then bacon, stirring until melted.
    Serve immediately.
