Favorite "Taters" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 precooked potatoes, sliced
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (or more if you like)
    1 can (tall) evaporated milk
    chives
    salt and pepper to taste
    pinch of sugar
Preparation
    Bake in oven for 35 to 60 minutes until bubbly hot.
    Serve.
