Hot Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. sugar
    1 large can evaporated milk
Preparation
    Melt chocolate, butter and salt together in double boiler. Add the sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, stirring after each addition. Add the evaporated milk, a little at a time, and continue stirring until well mixed.
    Serve over ice cream while hot and sprinkle with Spanish peanuts, if desired.
    Makes 3 cups sauce.
    Store extra sauce in refrigerator.
