Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. cornmeal
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg, well beaten
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. shortening, melted
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add egg, milk and shortening.
    Stir just to moisten dry ingredients.
    Put in greased pan.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
