W. Va. Creamed Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. tomato juice
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. milk
    4 to 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. flour
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Pour tomato juice
    in large saucepan.
    Bring to a boil. Mix water and flour
    together until smooth.
    Add milk to water and flour and mix
    well.
    Add
    this
    mixture to boiling juice. Bring to boil until thick.
    Add butter salt and pepper.
    Serve over hot, split buttered biscuits.
