Blueberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. blueberries
    6 lb. sugar
    1 qt. cooked apples
    1/2 pt. water
Preparation
    Wash berries and drain. Mash berries to a pulp. Add apples and mash in with berries. Add sugar and mix together. Add water and stir. Cook on low heat until sugar melts. Then turn on medium heat and cook slowly, stirring occasionally as jam thickens. When thick enough, pour into containers and seal.
