Flaky Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. shortening
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients, then blend in shortening.
    Beat egg, vinegar and water together.
    Add to dry ingredients.
    Form into 4 balls and wrap with wax paper.
    Chill for 15 minutes.
    Makes two double pie crust.
    (If you do not use all the balls, it can be placed in the freezer for use at another time.)
