Cherry Congealed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large (6 oz.) pkg. Jell-O
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (heavy syrup)
    1 can Mandarin oranges
    3 bananas
    3/4 c. pecans
    8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Make Jell-O with 1 1/2 cups boiling water.
    Chill about 20 minutes or until jiggly.
    Add crushed pineapple (don't drain), Mandarin oranges (drained), sliced bananas and pecans.
    Mix in about 3/4 of the Cool Whip.
    Chill at least 3 hours, but not overnight.
    If you need to make it overnight, leave out the bananas.
