Scalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) bag cornbread stuffing
    1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    6 large tomatoes, thinly sliced
    salt
Preparation
    Pour stuffing into bowl.
    In a skillet, heat butter and saute onion and garlic until golden.
    Pour mixture with pan drippings into stuffing.
    Stir until blended.
    Layer tomatoes and stuffing in a shallow 2-quart casserole dish, ending with a layer of stuffing.
    Sprinkle each layer of tomatoes with salt (lightly). Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until brown and crusty on top.
